[1] Google-Based Sourcing
What’s included:
- Slides
- Video recording
- One month support
Google remains the Tsar of search engines and a must-know-well for recruiters – or anyone who wants to search the Internet for professional information on people and companies. The advancement of online social “hangouts” has made Google even more critical to master. While it’s usually not necessary to use all of the advanced syntax, there’s a core set of Google Boolean operators and syntax rules that we need to use daily to be competitive and successful.
Did you know that the operator “plus” stopped working on Google quite recently? There are several more changes we need to be aware of.
The webinar offers a detailed overview of the Google Search Engine, including the basics, intermediate and advanced tips and tricks, and a review of new and unannounced changes.
Who would benefit: sourcers, recruiters, HR, hiring managers, business development, marketing, sales managers, search enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to go beyond searching for a keyword or two and controlling the list of search results. A basic ability to search on Google is recommended for participants.
Here’s a brief outline:

- – Boolean Syntax
- – Operators, Special Characters, and Options
- – PLUS No More: Recent Changes in Google’s Syntax

- – Creative Use of Special Characters
- – Finding Email Addresses
- – Using the Date Range
- – Targeting Geography
- – Finding Lists and Directories
- – X-raying Membership Sites

[2] Uncovering Hidden Profiles
What’s included:
- Slides
- Video recording
- The Hidden Profiles custom search engine and its variations
- One month support
If you are one of the 97% of sourcers and recruiters who search beyond job boards, chances are that you search for online profiles of potential candidates and business connections on a daily basis.
There’s a problem with navigating online profiles, since social networks are all different, have different search syntax and capabilities, and have various amounts and types of data visible to search engines.
Which network(s) are the best for finding people with target background? How can you search for profiles on each of them using Google, Bing, and real time/social search engines?
Please join us for a webinar about online profiles and ways to discover them. We’ll cover a list of 15+ top sites with profiles, along with the tools and correct search syntax to discover those profiles. I plan to cover these sites: Google-Plus; Twitter; Facebook; LinkedIn; Zoominfo; Jigsaw; Plaxo; Quora; Visible.me; Ning; Youtube; Amazon; WordPress; and industry- and geography-specific networks.
Who will benefit: Recruiters, Sourcers; HR; Business Development; Sales; Marketing; anyone who wants to take advantage of online profiles. Some basic online search capabilities will be helpful for listeners.
[3] Boolean Strings for Beginners
What’s included:
- Slides
- Video recording
- Annotated “25 Best Strings”
- One month support
Who would benefit: sourcers, recruiters, human resources professionals, hiring managers, sales, marketing, and business development professionals; all those who would like to experience less frustration and more satisfaction and fun while looking people up on the web.
Learn – or review – the basics of the Boolean search on the Internet:
• How to pick the right keywords and phrases
• How to add the most useful search engine operators and special characters
• What to do if you get no results, the wrong results, or too many results
• How to get the right results quickly and painlessly.
The materials can serve as a basic reference guide for Boolean searches.
[4] How to Extract Candidates and Leads from LinkedIn
What’s included:
- Slides
- Two Video recordings (lecture and demo)
- One month support
Would you like to learn how to overcome LinkedIn limitations and reach the right people? LinkedIn has a very large collection of business data. However, it is not at all like Job Boards with resumes (even for the top account holders) and, of course, is not like lists of prospects with contact information. Data access and search limitations, the absence of contact information, and “shallow” profiles that lack important data stand in the way of taking advantage of LinkedIn’s full potential.
Find out how to:
- Uncover, sort, and filter member profiles and company data on LinkedIn
- Reveal hidden names on any LinkedIn profile, including those outside of your network
- Search on Google and Yahoo/Bing for data that cannot be searched within LinkedIn
- Explore group memberships without joining groups
- Use multiple options to contact prospects, that produce 10x better response than plain emails and are quicker than cold calls
Who should attend:
- Recruiters
- Sourcers
- Business Development Managers
- Sales Managers
Expect to speed up your work, find people you couldn’t locate before, and experience less frustration, more fun using LinkedIn going forward.

What’s included:

Hello Irina, just double-checking how it works: i first buy the desired module and then schedule with you?
booleanstrings said
Not exactly; I email you the materials (including video recordings and slides) and you have one month support on the material over email.

I want to enroll for several modules. I want to make sure I pick the most appropriate ones. I was a technical IT recruiter on the US market between 2005-2007. I have not done recruiting since then and I want to go back into the job. That would be on Bulgarian IT market with a lot less technologies used but still so many things have changed. I do not have the budget to enrol all modules and it woould be great if you could advise if that would cover the major networks and search logic:
1. [2] Uncovering Hidden Profiles
2. [4] How to Extract Candidates and Leads from LinkedIn
Next step would be to buy them and wait for instructions from you I suppose?
Thanks,
Addy
